Адам Истонский(?-1397), ученый монах-бенедектинец, кардинал с 1381 г., автор многочисленных теологических трудов (сохранилось упоминание о 17 трактатах), но о существовании ни одного из них сегодня не известно.
Айала Педро Лопец(1332-1407), автор исторических хроник, переводчик Ливия, Бокаччо и других на испанский язык, написал дидактическую поэму «Rimado de Palacio».
Александр Гэльский(Hales, иногда Хейлзский или Хелзский) (конец XII века – 1245), монах-францисканец, теолог и философ, один из крупнейших схоластов своего времени. Его основной работой является трактат «Summa Universae Theologiae», в котором он высказывает взгляды, близкие к Бонавентуре и Фоме Аквинскому.
Альбемарля, графиня, Изабелла де Редверс(07.1237-10.11.1293), дочь графа Девоншира, в 1248 году вышла замуж за Вильгельма III де Форца, графа Альбемарля, с 1260 года вдова, все дети, кроме графини Холдернесс, вышедшей замуж за герцога Ланкастера, не пережили отца.
Д'Альбре, Арман Аманье(ок. 1323-1401), лорд д'Альбре, виконт де Танта, один из самых могущественных магнатов Гиени, до середины 60-х гг. находился на стороне Эдуарда III, но Карл V Французский переманил его на свою сторону женитьбой на сестре своей жены Маргарите де Бурбон, дочери герцога Бурбонского и Маргариты Валуа (1368 год). В 1382 году сделан великим чемберленом Франции.
